NCLB-PAC (No Child Left Behind/ Parent Advisory Council)
Greetings Parents and Friends:
My name is Lawrence Rodgers and as of October, 2006, I am the newly elected Chairman of the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Parent Advisory Council. I would like to take this opportunity to extend a warm welcome to our Simeon family. We would like to encourage each parent to feel free and participate in the NCLB experience.
The NCLB-PAC is designed to empower the parents in making sure their child’s education is an experience of total fulfillment. We will dialogue the educational process and issues that may arise, participate in workshops, and have literacy training sessions regarding Simeon’s ETC Curriculum. It is also my desire to “bridge the gap” and have parents, administration, faculty, and students on one accord. In closing I would like to share with you my personal motto: “Let’s make it a family affair.” I look forward to seeing you soon.
