The enrichment programs at Simeon are meant to be used as tools to provide our students with essential skills and knowledge to better enhance their overall academic and school experience.  Enrichment programs range from afterschool tutoring to honors or AP courses.  We also provide students with the opportunity to take advantage of community organizations offering their services to our students.

After School Matters Program
 
Explore an interest and find your future at After School Matters. We offer hands-on job training programs in the arts, sports, technology, communications and science. Learn a new skill. Work with experts.
 
After School Matters Website

Chicago State At-Large Program
 
This program is similar to the College Bridge Program, but requires the student to pay for the program.  The benefit of this program is that the student will be allowed to take college courses and obtain college credit through Chicago State University.

                        Consent of their HS Counselor

Science Chicago
 
The Science Chicago initiative is a city of Chicago endeavor to get our students more interested in the sciences.  These programs allow our students to take advantage of wonderful opportunities to engage in science related fields by learning and experiencing different fields in science.  Some of the programs are free to students so take advantage of these opportunities!!
 
 

Youth Ready Chicago
Mayor Daley’s Youth Ready Chicago program connects young people, ages 14 - 24, with internships, apprenticeships and jobs within Chicago’s public and private business sectors. Each opportunity offers youth hands-on experience and an opportunity to gain marketable skills, supporting a successful transition from school into the workforce.
