Dr. Deborah Beasley received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a concentration in education from the University of Iowa. She earned her Masters of Education in Counseling from the University of Missouri at Columbia and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Beasley taught K-8th grade elementary school students for Chicago Public Schools for 11 years before taking advantage of her counseling degree. Dr. Beasley has enjoyed counseling thousands of students and parents during her 26 years with CPS. This is Dr. Beasley's second year at Simeon Career Academy and her 15th year as counselor. She has special interests in children and adolescent development. Dr. Beasley enjoys creating and presenting guidance lessons to students and working with students individually and in small groups. She is dedicated to ensuring that all students attending Simeon have a positive academic, personal/social, and career high school experience.

Mr. Tyler Kastner is in his first year as a School Counselor and is extremely excited to be working at Chicago Simeon Career Academy. In 2005, Mr. Kastner earned his Bachelors Degree in Psychology from the University of Illinos at Champaign-Urbana. Immediately after the University of Illinois Mr. Kastner went straight into getting his Masters Degree. In 2007, he graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville with a degree in School Counseling. Mr. Kastner is the young-gun of the department and enjoys his role as such. He enjoys talking sports, so if you would like to stop on by and chit chat, feel free or if you are interested in discussing academic, career and personal/social/emotional concerns come on by.

Ms. Constance Paprocki, is excited to be enjoying her third year as a Professional School Counselor at Simeon Career Academy. Ms. Paprocki is a graduate of the Chicago Academy for the Performing Arts, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Columbia College, The Illinois School of Professional Psychology, and National-Louis University. In addition to her counseling duties, Ms. Paprocki coordinates the Chicago Public Schools Practical Nursing Program, and has had the pleasure of working as an "in house expert" teaching dance with the After School Matters Program. Ms. Sharon Rawls has been working for Chicago Public Schools for 36 years and has been a Professional School Counselor for over 25 years. She is a graduate of Wendell-Phillips High School. Ms. Rawls began her college education at Southern Illinois University and finished her education at Chicago State University. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education and three Master's Degrees from various fields of study. She enjoys working with young adults and strives to meet all of their academic, personal/emotional and career needs.
