Did you know that Simeon offers seven Advanced Placement Courses in AP Biology, AP Government and Politics, AP U.S. History, AP Human Geography, AP Psychology, AP English Language and Composition, and AP English Literature and Composition?
Did you know that Simeon Juniors have continued to increase their overall ACT score since 2006? In 2006 the composite ACT score was 16.1, in 2007 the composite ACT score was 17.0, and in 2008 the composite ACT score is 17.4! Way to go Simeon Juniors!

The Chicago Public Library has selected The House On Manago Street by Chicago-born writer Sandra Ciseros for its One Book, One Chicago . Books are available to check out in Simeon's library.

The Library has available for check out a copy of Finding Oprah's Roots,Finding Your Own by Henry Louis Gates, Jr., and a companion curriculum guide.developed by the office of Literacy, High Schools and High School Programs, and the Department of Libraries.
